Renault, a globally renowned car manufacturer with a legacy dating back to its founding in 1899, turned to Coredo for optimizing their Scandinavian unit's invoice management, particularly for warranty services.

The Challenge

Operating with legacy software, specifically IBM AS/400, which was first launched in 1988, posed significant operational challenges. While the system still served its purpose, it demanded extensive manual data entry due to its lack of a web browser and reliance on a command line terminal.

Our Approach

To comprehensively address the issue, one of our automation specialists worked directly at the client's office in Stockholm. This allowed us to gain an in-depth understanding of the existing process and define a solution. Our proposal involved implementing UiPath's Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software, enhanced with Artificial Intelligence capabilities.

The Solution

Our implementation of UiPath, coupled with AI, enabled the software to autonomously analyze and extract data from diverse PDF documents. This newfound efficiency facilitated the seamless integration of information into the IBM AS/400 system. Subsequently, the data was processed for accounting approval.

Outcomes

The outcomes were transformative. The burdensome manual copy-paste tasks that once weighed down office employees were eliminated, liberating their time for more value-added activities. Renault achieved remarkable operational efficiency improvements, optimizing their processes and enhancing their overall business performance.
