About Prego Booking:

Prego Booking is the brainchild of a renowned Michelin-star restaurant group with six upscale establishments in Helsinki, Finland. These culinary pioneers are experts in the art of harmonizing food and wine to craft an exclusive and unforgettable dining experience. To extend this exceptional experience to the digital realm, they founded Prego Booking, a SaaS-based software business.

The Problem:

For years, the restaurant industry has relied on third-party companies to manage table reservations and drive traffic to their establishments. However, a significant challenge arises with these existing solutions: restaurants do not have direct ownership of customer data when reservations are made through these third-party providers. Moreover, digital channels, managed by external entities, have limited Muru's ability to innovate the customer journey from reservation to dining and beyond.

To elevate their renowned service and seamlessly transition it into digital channels, Muru teamed up with Coredo, transforming a concept into a fully-fledged SaaS company, Prego Booking.

The Solution:

Muru required a dedicated team to create a solution from scratch and bring it to market swiftly. Within weeks, we assembled a seasoned team to kick-start the project. We conducted collaborative workshops to identify pain points, explore possibilities, visualize ideas, and outline a development roadmap.

Once we had a clear understanding of the problem and the necessary solution, we rapidly developed the first Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to validate our approach. Following successful validation, we immediately proceeded to create the first product release, taking it to market for real-world testing.

Outcomes:

Through our partnership with Muru Dining, we refined the initial concept, transforming it into software that embodies innovation. We successfully introduced the solution to more than ten different restaurants. Technically, we achieved key objectives, including restoring restaurant owners' control over customer outreach, crafting an exceptional digital customer journey, and setting the stage for future company growth.

The successful launch also led to a funding round, enabling further development of the solution. This experience was a testament to Coredo's ability to leverage our expertise in helping clients understand their business potential, translate ideas into functional products, and combine technology and business acumen to navigate the challenges common to early-stage innovations.
